well just my 2 cents here .. i think we're all entitled to our opinions .. but facts are facts and nobody is entitled to their own facts if they're not facts .. you can like a politician or dislike him .. sometimes you might like him for what you think he stands for only to have been duped .. its happened before and it will happen again .. when john kennedy ran for president he was addressin a fund raiser by the league of women voters and he started off by askin how many of you here would like your son to grow up to be president ?? and they all raised their hands .. then he asked how many of you would like your son to grow up and be a politician and only one woman in the back raised her hand .. he looked at her and said your son madam has about the best chance .. basicly what he was sayin was politicians are not all that well respected .. revered somewhere between a lawyer and a skunk if i had to give em some kind of rating .. and this was back in 1960 .. its not like they've come up a few notches since then is it ?? so now i'll ask a simple question .. what did george bush do to garner the respect of anyone here in this group ?? no name callin .. just the cold hard facts .. what did his presidency accomplish that you could honestly say good job george ?? and i'm not pickin just one president .. we can go all the way back to fdr if you want .. but for now lets start with g.w and we'll go from there ..but lets try to stick to the facts and no name callin ok.. lets try and do this the civilized way ..

Bush did help in producing two beautiful daughters . It would have made more since to me if they would have waited for a Drone to take Ladin out . Not invade at all in a War you can't win ....

True enough. Even Earth Worms reproduce and probably make beautiful children. Many years ago I spent some time in the bars drinking and one old scraggly neighbor farmer would also do so.  He had taken part (I presume) in the production of several beautiful daughters. One night one of our drinking colleagues asked him, "Johnny, how did an ugly old goat like you produce so many good looking daughters?" Without batting an eye, old Johnny said, "Well I didn't make'em with my face."

On The Daily Show during the Bush reign, John Oliver did a whole thing about how GW did "good" for Africa with malaria or something, then he said what pissed him off the most was that GW KNEW how to do good things after all, which he didn't do for America.

They will always be Bush haters , Reagan hater's , Clinton and Obama haters no matter what facts comes about . I watched the interview on CBS this morning of Charlie Rose's interview Mr Bush . I enjoyed it . The haters wouldn't take time to listen because in their mind , it's made up . Live on Mr Bush ....

hi luvy , welcome to the group . glad you joined and hope you like it here .. we don't always agree on everything but we try to be nice about it .. so don't take anything we say personal cause its not .. about the tax cuts .. one of the reasons we been hearin fiscal cliff so much lately was because of all them tax cuts . it strikes me really weird that the one class of people who are the most able to get this country out of a ditch are the very ones that don't think they need to .. when they passed the tax cuts bush got back 48 grand more than he would have otherwise ( and trust me if you look at his record as a businessman everything he ever did he was a complete failure except for his bringin together the people for the sale of the texas rangers baseball team of which he wrote himself a nice check ) chenney on the other hand got back somethin like 286 grand more..now if they had tried what clinton wanted to do and keep the tax cuts for the people that needed it the most they would have stimulated the economy by buyin a new washin machine or new vacume cleaner or maybe refigured their budget and saw they could afford that compact car .. but the money wouldn't have just sat somewhere . as far as the patriot act goes well they rushed that out after 9/11 and nobody had a chance to really read it .. once they did a lot of people wished they hadn't signed it because it gave the gubment pretty much a military state kinda powers .. don't get me wrong on this now .. i think if there's any cause to be spyed upon because they think you're gonna try and bomb somethin then by all means do so .. i have no quarrel with that at all .. but they should have somethin to go on first .. the no child left behind ?? well , sometimes you have to leave some kids behind for various reasons .. that abortion thing is a fine line .. i agree that if they're doin em it should be early on or not at all .. exactly where the cutoff should be i'm not sure .. but if that baby has a chance to survive outside the womb then its too late .. and the prescriptions for the seniors might have been a good idea .. to be honest i'm not a senior yet so i don't know enough about it . but if it truly does help seniors then i'd say it was a good thing .. even if he was throwin his  big drug co. buddies a bone or not ..
