This a fantastic story. I enjoyed reading it. The Lykof's never new what went on all this time. they surely avoided the horrors that happened as they were cut off from everything in the world. Unbelievable! Thank you for posting this Shadowman. It was enlightening.

Truly an amazing story and so well written.

There was some oddity in it that I could not get clear on. It was the part where they say the father died 28 years to the date after his wife and then three children in fairly quick succession. But the 28 years did not seem to fit as that would have put the mother's death about 1960, yet it seemed from the story that the mother was still alive when the geologists found them in 1978. Maybe there was a typo or I misread it. But it was amazing, sort of like those stories of Japanese troops that lived in the jungle somewhere for 20-30 years after WWII.

Best way to get away from it all....?
