WHO IS STILL HERE?
It's Friday.
Chucks is gone and so is his Q&A Group. As JayLee feared so are the Vibes. Since there is no Question and answer group there appears to be no check in.
So Let's do it over here. It's the start of the weekend! Time to have fun.
There is all kinds of bad news.
1. Looks like tbd is splintering.
2. After two days the TBD Stalwarts has only 7 members.
3. The Stock Market tanked yesterday.
4. The end of the world is near.
5. The Zombies are still here
Everybody check in and give me some good news.

True....except for all the exclusive, gated communities and suburban developements where they think every freakin' blade of grass has to stand at attention all the time and be unrealistically green.
There is a fairly popular practice here of xeroscaping.....landscaping with native grasses, bushes and trees to cut down on mowing and wasting water.
But, of course, it has been banned by some "upscale" neighborhoods cause it ain't "pretty" enough.

I mostly have what others would call weeds in my yard. I do not fertilize or overseed. But around here, particularly this time of year, weeds grow too.

A weed is simply something growing where you don't want it.
My weed may be someone elses' eyesore but it sure can look pretty to me.
To me, cultured lawns belong on golf courses. The rest should be what nature decides....Let agriculture run rampant...!
