Devistating floods in her home town The gov. of NY has declared her area a disaster area. Any ideas how we can help? Kittycat and I are close enough that we can drive up there to help. Hopefully I'll hear from her later.

I just spoke with 1GL, she's fine. She's staying with her bf. She was able to elevate personal belongings in her apt before she evacuated so she didn't lose anything there. Unfortunately her car is ruined, probably beyond repair. The flooding took out internet connections so she may be away from here for a while, she misses you guys. She hasn't lost her sense of humor, I offered to bring sponges, she said shovels would work better. She has everything under control.
