This happens all the time around TBD and I think I just figured it out. "Friend" me if you want and I'll see if your buddy character replaces the unknown buddy character that's in your place now. This is the first time I've had one and I haven't paid that much attention to it until now.

Buddy Poke should be near the top of the apps list. Once you load it on your page, go to change appearance and you can personalize it. Take care, hop over to my page and post if you have questions about anything. I'm no expert but I've played around on here enough.
