Watch John Stossel's Special ABC News 20/20 Report Exposing the Truth About ObamaCare

President Obama is rushing a massive socialized healthcare plan through Congress -- with a final vote expected in September.

The “ObamaCare” healthcare plan imposes at least $1.5 trillion in new taxes and forces Americans to “hand over” their health care decisions to politicians and bureaucrats. This nationalization of our health care system will cripple businesses and cause a massive increase in government control over our lives. For more on how the so-called “Public Option” is really a “Government Co-option” of healthcare, click here:

If you'd like to join me in signing a petition opposing government-run, socialized health care, click here:

There's also a sound bite on that page from President Obama discussing opting out of surgery and opting for pain killers. (Sorry, I couldn't transfer it to this page.)

I'm all for people getting the care they need when they need it, and I'm also for maintaining our right to exercise freedom of choice in all areas of health care.

hi greg! of late, many people think that insurance is a 'right'. a drivers license is a 'privilege', but health insurance is becoming a 'right'. go figure.

everyone should be treated and cared for as, and when needed. from what i've seen relevant to health care in canada and the UK, i don't believe socialized medicine would prove to be an efficacious remedy for our broken system in the US, at least at this time. there are answers, but they're not quick fixes. it took over 50 years to mess it up -- obama can't expect to fix it with less than a year's time in office. these guys haven't done their due diligence. what's the rush all of the sudden? has 'thinning the herd' become priority one to the powers that be?

the fact that pharma has been paid billions to mass produce vaccines while being released of any and all liability will NOT insure a safe and efficacious product. where's the honor and integrity in that decision? all who administer vaccines will also be released of any liability due to injury.

i would like to see our leadership and experts go back to the drawing board and come up with a viable plan with latitude for all people. no quotas, no long waits and something that will continue to inspire creativity and invention to drive our economy and promote free enterprise without sacrificing integrity.

and no law-mandating! provide proper disease prevention education and leave the health choices up to the individuals.

So it has become a "right?"

I think everyone should get insurance but not be told what their deductible has to be.
