ON THE ROAD AGAIN 24
Sitting here at Tiki Tom's RV park on Tiki Island, Texas. Tiki Island is the last exit on South I-45 before you cross Galveston Bay from the mainland onto Galveston Island. We moved down here on March 26, 2010. The next day I got to visit UTMB ER and enjoy most of the weekend there. (see "My little medical adventure")
I had never before been to Galveston. There is a ton of stuff to do here. And lots to see. Pru has paid a visit and Monday Chris Cary and Linda Diane drove down and we went to a great Sea Food Restaurant. We also drove over to the Moody Gardens area and walked around. Unfortunetly I forgot my camera and I'm still waiting for Chris to send me some pictures. (:>). However I have a bunch of pictures so I'll go ahead and post some.
Yesterday, I drove to Houston and met Pru and Aggie at Rudi Lechner's Restaurant. I had the Jagger Snitzel and it was very good. The wind is blowing over 20 mph today so I thought it would be a good time to post a blog. I am also working on the list of tbd people that I have met and will post that in the "Forum". Unfortunately, I have lost or forgotten some of the names. So, if you have met me and can't find your name on the list PM me.
Sorry, but you know how it is once you are over 40. And I'm way over 40.
Behind this wall is the exercise room with TV, laundrymat,and showers. all free if you are staying a month or more.
The park is all new. Built after IKE.

I lived in Galveston for 6or 8 years in an rv wasn't retired but stayed there anyway had great time had 24' pontoon boat worked well in bay great to fish from I was staying at GALVESTON RESORT AND RV PARK ITS PROBABLY gone now city was not going to renew least it was nice had coffee in middle of bay most morning s when boat was running well learn from me never buy used boat and motor go new motor used boat. a great place to go is island spice great people great food imported foods .
