I received phone calls today from 3 of my old trucking buddies. They got permanent lay off notices and were told to clean out their trucks, they were also told that they would be receiving a seperation packet in the mail explaining Cobra benefits. 2 of them turned 62 this year like me, so they can retire if they want, the other is only 43, he's the one I'm worried about. Sorry friends, I was going to wait a little while before I told. I've reached the end of a huge era in my life and am beginning another. On Thur.
