Cost of Lessons Learned

The lessons of life are hard-earned
when you find a love that doesn’t return.
Yet, this lesson of this week
of the soul mate I would seek…
I knew from the beginning
that it would go no where.
So does it really matter
that I knew he didn’t care?
A day or so ago my heart would have cried out,
from wounds of pain that I would shout.
Yet, somehow that’s not the case
and there’s no pain to erase.
The sun it shines so bright;
now no more petty fights.
When there is thought of loss
make experience the cost.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STU AND MANY MORE

I must be slow, really slow, I keep posting to myself....somehow again. I can't figure it out. So, yea I plan on other trips. The one I really want to do is to ride horseback on part of the Colorado Trail.

The last comment that I posted, I posted to myself. Figure that one out. I had fun chatting today.

Chinc has ponies and all but it is up the coast toward MD. you would be driving in circles around here trying to find it or on the wrong day sitting in traffic for hours trying to get back up the coast. Lol.

Uhh, correct me that s/b Corolla not Chincoteague.

I haven't been to Ocracoke or Rodanthe either. My daughter is in college and it's hard for her to get away to sight see. The other one I want to go to is Chincoteague Island where the wild ponies are, you can take your own 4wd vehicle.
