I'm a easy going guy that enjoys most activities having to do with the ocean. I grew up on the beach (head over to San Diego or Hawaii when I can) so did a lot of sailing and body surfing and still enjoy doing it. I've traveled extensively living in Europe for about 10-yrs. I've lived in Kansas City, upper state New York, Indianapolis, San Diego, Los Angeles to name a few stops in my past. I've sailed over to Hawaii with a crew of 5 on a tri-maran when I was younger on a bet. Always like talking politics (very liberal), music(all types incl some rap). I enjoy all types of art, took some art classes at Cambridge University when living in the UK. I use to be involved in photography, developing my own photos when I traveled. Early years played sax in a jazz ensemble throughout the UK and also had several gigs in Paris, Bruge, and Nice. Also played as a backup musician for several touring groups while living in Kansas City.
I like people who have some sense of humanity, good nature and can accept all mankind without prejudice. I like creative-artsy-musical people as the conversation is usually interesting and can be stimulating. I do have career objectives that need to be met & countries/cultures to visit and experience. On retirement...I'm working to put myself in a financial position so I can settle somewhere along the Mediterranean coast. Living outside the city of Nice would be a destination I have in mind at this time.

Hey Rich - While reading your bio about how much you love all kinds of music, I couldn't help but wonder if you ever listened to members of the Buddha Bar groups of world music musicians from Azerbijan, etc.. One that I listen to often is Alihan Samedov. I found him on Imeem.com and have become a fan ever since. I think the movie Slumdog Millionaire might have something to do with that love now of world music.

Remembering September 11, 2001. 10 days after my birthday so I will never forget, for a lot of reasons.

You asked, " What makes your home eclectic?" Well, just about everything. From the bamboo dining set, to the Phillipine mahogeny wood carvings to the orchid plants, and original oriental art on the walls. I also love anything that sparkles like clear glass and mirrors so those are also a part of my overall look. As a graphic artist for the past almost 20 yrs., I like to keep things interesting so I rotate stuff around the rooms. Makes me happy : )
