Oh wow, then you know the challenges!! When I lost my full time caregiver job for a couple who decided to have LIVE IN caregiver, I was offered a few different options. ONE was scheduling manager and well...frankly I wasn't ready for the headaches so I opted for an "after hours on call" position so I could STILL be a caregiver at least some of the time. As I am SURE you deal with TIMES 2... I get some interesting calls and problems, esp on weekends where I am on call 24/7. One man called and said his caregiver asked if he minded if she went to the bank "real quick". It was a few days before Christmas. She came back 4 hours later, his truck full of "gifts". He called ME because she got nasty with him when he fired her! I dont "get" what some of them are thinking!!
