All that these tiny little creatures want is for you to feed them and make them feel secure.  I have lain on the sofa and put all of them on top of me.  One little white and yellow kitten likes to sleep on my face with her nose on my left eye.  She smells like heaven.

"I look back with gladness to the day when I found the path to the land of heart's desire, and thank Fate ceaselessly with a loud voice that she did not permit town to sap all the years away while the heart was turning to wind-voices and flower-faces and the hands of kindly earth."

Julia, these babies love being snuggled and look at me as a big hairless cat.

Tell everyone the 4 remaining kitties are Magical Cats

and only a special person can care for them

then the cats will always give them good luck

This is a copy of a message I just sent to my best friend in Redwood City, California'

Have you ever had one of those days where you said, "Ooooh, I'm so screwed" but secretly loved it?  Well, a couple of days ago that happened to me.

I have a medium sized yellow tiger tabby who I feed often.  She has an owner who ignores her and Yellow has decided that she is my cat.  She is always trying to get into the house and makes a bee line for my computer to find me.  Then she meows at me and runs to the refrigerator and yowls at it until I give her something to eat.
Recently, she has been going APESHIT to get into the house but she runs into my room and hides.  She goes into the alcove and lies down behind a piece of furniture that contains all of Julies shoes.  It is quite dark back there so I shined a flashlight on her and (I'll be damned) she was feeding 5 kittens.
Oh, Hell, now I have 6 felines.  What am I going to do?  They are beautiful.  They were born here and this is the only place they have ever known.  I can't feed 6 kitties and care for them properly.  One is already adopted but he cannot leave his mother for a few more weeks.
One down.......4 to go..

Spring

by Jim Harrison

Something new in the air today, perhaps the struggle of the bud
to become a leaf. Nearly two weeks late it invaded the air but
then what is two weeks to life herself? On a cool night there is
a break from the struggle of becoming. I suppose that's why we
sleep. In a childhood story they spoke of the land of enchant-
ment." We crawl to it, we short-lived mammals, not realizing that
we are already there. To the gods the moon is the entire moon
but to us it changes second by second because we are always fish
in the belly of the whale of earth. We are encased and can't stray
from the house of our bodies. I could say that we are released,
but I don't know, in our private night when our souls explode
into a billion fragments then calmly regather in a black pool in
the forest, far from the cage of flesh, the unremitting "I." This was
a dream and in dreams we are forever alone walking the ghost
road beyond our lives. Of late I see waking as another chance at
spring.
