Lost friend

My dear friend, Pat, who passed away at 46.  Gone so long, but never forgotten.

It's a wonderful thing to remember your friend, 

along with the good memories you shared together Helen.

Then there's the t.v. every night where people all over the world

and at all different ages that we hear have gone,

often without any reason or answers,

so we don't know how long our luck will last,

but every new day is a true blessing.

It took a long time to get over losing a friend like her so young.  I still always think of her on her birthday and the anniversary of her death.  It took a very long time, but I've now gotten close to someone else and I don't know what I'd do if something happened to him.  I've been blessed to have two really dear friends.
