Vanishing Point

I loved to watch this series when I was a kid. John Newland was spookier than Rod Serling. :-)

I will post a Sci-Fi  classic feature about once every week for your pleasure. It may be an old movie or TV show.

We had some good TV when we were kids. Today's generation have no idea what they have missed.

Great post, Dragao, thanx!  And I agree, altho I loved the TZ, you're right, John was spookier than Rod! :-0  I also liked the series Thriller, hosted by Boris Karloff, now he had 'em both beat for spookiness!  :D  And the music for Thriller was great & spooky; I never got to see all the Thriller episodes so am going to buy it; they've got the whole series out now on dvd.

And I agree the SF tv was better for us.  (Except for Siffy's Haven; now that show is ok & not just becuz "Duke" is a hunk altho he is ;-)

I like "Haven" also. Is Syfy getting ready to end it's run? It looks like all of the loose ends are beginning to come together.

Oh yeah, I got the idea for posting features from an Eons Horror & Sci Fi movie group. The managers and moderators would post old classic horror movies. That group was "Midnight Movies", I was a member.

Well I read online (at a news site) the other day that Haven has been renewed; hope so anyway...

I was a mbr of "Midnite Movies" on Eons too, that was a great group.  I thought Ponytail did a great job running that group; I wonder which site (if any) he ended up on when Eons ended; anybody heard from him?
