How do you think humanity could be nurtured/changed for the better?

a) Is cultivating a spirit of altruism and citizenship enough to make us better people?
b) Do we need to nurture our spirituality to engender our social evolution and interconnectedness?
c) Are we in need of a universal moral/ethical compass
        (not necessarily affiliated with religion)?
d) Do we really need the Democratic and Republican parties? (LoL)
e) How can we change our system of govt to foster a better humanity?
f)  How can we teach our kids to be more humane?
