How much older or younger a person would you date?
I spent the day with a lovely man who is much older than I am. When people see us together, I'm sure there are plenty of stereotypes that will immediately come to mind. I'd like that not to matter, but it might.
How do you feel about it? Would you date someone 20 years older or younger than you?

Geez....I get in trouble if I think or even if I don't think....*
My daughter has been "dating" a man 25yrs her senior for 10yrs....and he is younger than me! She is the one who asked him out first.
I don't think I have a cut off age other than if I could be his mother or he my father........that would be awkward.
Okay....figured it out...using an abacus and # 2 pencil and a Big Chief tablet.....
7 years, 8 months.
I was always attracted to men a lot older than me in my younger days... my first long term partner was nearly 13 years older than me. We were together for several years & our age difference was never an issue in any way. When I met my ex-husband, I assumed he was a couple years older than me. I was surprised he was a little younger than me. I found that bothersome for a time, b/c I'd never been interested in guys my age or younger. But we were together for 17 years, so obviously I got over it.
And D-man... oh, my gosh!
...I robbed the cradle - he's a couple years younger than me. '-)
My cut off, kainsworth? I dunno. I'd like to think that I wouldn't be affected by age difference, that it doesn't matter. But I suppose there's a limit, somewhere. Maybe 20-something years older & several years younger. It's a double standard, I know. ;-p
