Since the demise of my local video store...which one could actually walk in and browse the shelves..look over some new releases and check out some oldies, I have now been reduced to the services of Netflix (streaming ain't me) and the oddly placed "Redbox" and the equally oddly placed "Bluebox"!
So, for the price of $1.00 plus tax, I get to choose from the sorely limited selection located in the "box".
So, dear viewers, let's extend a helping hand to those of us who are willing to swipe that miracle card that allows us to view what's new.
On a scale of 1 to 10...rate what you've rented from the box. 10 being worth a whole dollar!
Tags: do it again, waste of $, worth every penny
Sorry Jaylee, I don't rent from the box. I'm a streaming kinda guy.
Wait... I'm not saying I have a strong stream.
Crap... I'm not saying I have a weak stream either.
Ok, I've watched Islands In The Stream, Slip Stream, and Down Stream, but...
I think I better shut up.
Bridesmaids.........6
Horrible Bosses......4
Bad Teacher..........3
Brides maids.....8 LMAO!
Horrible Bosses..6 LMAO...!
Bad Teacher...3
I haven't watched a new movie in quite a while. I have recently watched some of the old ones that I have.
Pru got me a copy of DOGMA for my Birthday. I saw it when it originally came out but wanted to watch it again. Couldn't find it in any of the places that sell movies. So, I think she got it off Amazon.
Also rewatched "Blade Runner" recently.
Guess I'm not much help.
I just watched "The Help" and I give it a 10!
Yes, that was a good one.
I've never tried any of those colored boxes. Or Netflix. If I want to see a movie I'll shell out the money to either buy it outright or go to a theater. Downloading it from piratebay as the third option.
Recent movie ratings:
Moneyball - 8 ( Brad Pitt is too short to play Billy Beane )
The Descendants - 8 ( Maybe George Clooney gets an Oscar for this...but I don't need his narration to follow the plot )
I'm not much for movies.....its been about four years since I rented one from a bricks and mortar store, and I've never availed myself of the use of Netflix, or the like. I've purchased movies on DVD in the past, if I had a deep discount coupon. I do have quite a few Marx Brothers flicks on DVD. "Hello, I must be going......." ;-)
sheesh. I've never rented from Netflix & don't even know what the redbox & blueboxes ARE!!
You lead such a sheltered life. ;-)
