Amazing plants. Used in making wine,  tea, salads, fried greens, root beer, syrup, and much more. The leaf is an excellent source of vitamin A, C, K, and are good sources of calcium, potassium, iron and manganese. Throughout history have been used in medicine and for herbal remedy to treat infections and liver problems.

My question is; Do any of you have experience eating or drinking Dandelions in whatever form? How do you prepare it?

Never used it as a food source, The Texas variety has really pretty bloom on a longer stalk than the others. I used to mow around them.  It is impossible to kill any of them. They were here when roaches came.

mornin' Bob,

Yep, dandelions have been here forever and have been used as a source of healthy nutrition and medicine for thousands of years. Settlers in the 1800's used them to stay alive on the long treks across the country. Before that, native americans had been using them.
