Big Bad Bully

Ok...Today was a good day...I went to a nice little back-yard Bar-b-q. The peoples yard was very quaint & green.One wall covered w/ potted plants & ivy growing up the side...It had the effect of a English countryside cottage..green is my favorite color & being around greenery always makes me feel pretty good.The people were nice & the food was good ol All American Hamburgers & Hotdogs with Baked beans, Cole Slaw, & Potato Salad...heavenly hash for desert.

When we got back the Bf pulled into our neighbors yard to pick up something that appears to be a good sized abandoned dog run they got out of a field its been sitting in for 8 years...since we are thinking of getting a puppy we could use the dog run....So...we brought it back here with our neighbors help...as we were standing arounfd talking...he punched my BF in the arm...I guess it was supposed to be a good ol boy punch, but it was way to hard of a punch to be considered playful.....Well I spoke up & told him not to punch people like that....Then the bf chimmed in & told him that was his bad arm & to never hit him like that again.

Next thing you know after verbal exchanges he pushed the BF down & knocked his shoulder out of place.....Then the neighbor walked to his house yelling. Then he said "You better move because the honeymoon is over".................I consider that a threat.

We have lived in this neighborhood for a very long time & so has this neighbor, but the friendship between this man & my friend is pretty new. They help each other out when need be...He has no vehicle so we take him places etc & he (In exchange) does what he can for us too.

Thing is I dont trust him..He reads only books about violence (true stories) & his bullyness scares me. Anyway...I had previously told the Bf to stay away from him, but you know..no-one listens to me....

The BF called 911 & they took a report, but he didn't want to press charges.

What would you have done? Pressed charges or not?.....Gawd......He lives 1/2 a block away & I have to walk by his house to go to the corner store...I think he is off his stupid rocker.

Update...The bicycle got dropped off this morning.......The guy has a conscience after-all. Either that or he wants to look good in the eyes of his policemen buddies whos ass he kissed the day he hit & pushed down my friend (his dad used to be a cop, so hes full of stories he thinks will give him a inside w/ them.)..he's so full of crap.....Anyway.....I take back the stuff I said about him falling in a muddy puddle etc.....

I am still keeping my eyes on him & will not forgive his actions...If he did it once, hell do it again....
