luv to talk to ppl.. ;) yes it is easy to miss when time changes and
things move on!.. lol
You are going to enjoy the new grand one when it arrives. It sounds like you both are in for some great moments.I hope you and your family have a very nice Easter. Do you think this group will ever get going again ? Were you on Eons ? I used to enjoy some of the groups and games. I still miss it.
Yes it is good to hear good and bad, both sides are important.
I am a software eng and my wife is a sales advisor. we have 3 wonderful children 31(f), 27(f) and 21(m). The oldest is married. The youngest one is still an undergrad. And we waiting for our first grand one! lol :)
Hi Gill, It is wonderful to hear about good marriages. It makes me sad to say I don't hear about to many of them.As for me I lost my childrens Dad he was the best. How exciting a new Grandbaby! I have four married children plus 9 Grands.
I hope you will continue feeling better.Do you think this group will get going again? I guess time will tell. I used to like Katie Kittens groups on Eons. The word games and things like that. What do you like?
Dee I thınk what Jay means ıs that - ıf the marrıage faıled the fırst tıme, chances are ıt would faıl the second tıme too!!
Me and my hubby wıll be marrıed 41 years on Aprıl Fools Day! We have two daughters, one son and three adorable granddaughters. Great news ıs our youngest daughter ıs expecting her first baby while we are back in Ireland shortly.
We have had our ups and downs - can't say ıt all ran smoothly - we ran a bakery busıness between us for years (hubby was a confectıoner) and that was hard work, especıally as he expected me to put the busıness before the chıldren! 11 years ago I got breast cancer and I thınk thıngs changed from then on. In January/February of thıs year I have had two new hıps fıtted and he has had to do everythıng for me and stıll ıs - rıght now I couldn't have asked for a better hubby. I would say we are soul mates now - not wıld passıonate partners (ıf you know what I mean)!!
Hi Jay, By solo I meant I don't have a live in partner. I have many friends male and female. The reason my first marriage ended was because my husband passed away.I guess I was looking for someone like him .Instead I got One womanizer who drank too much and one who was so wrapped up in his daughter he had no time for anyone else. Plus he was abusive.I love having bbq's with family and friends.I like people. My Daughter and my Grandaughter live with me.I do Shell Art and some home office work.Sometimes we all miss things I guess. What about you and your wife? Do you all entertainn often? Do you have children?
Thanks Dee. Good to get insight in your life!..
So I assume you are single now?
well there is a reason why first time it failed, so what are the chances it will be successful second time? LOL
what do you mean "solo life"? do you have fun by yourself? do you miss anything?
Hi Jay ,you certainly tell an interesting story. It is so nice to hear you say you would marry your wife again.A very nice compliment to her.I think most men don't compliment their wives enough.I have been married 4 times. ( never again)I married one man twice. It was worse the second time. I do have wonderful kids.one single, four are married. I am quite happy with my solo life style.Maybe someone else will tell us something about themselves.
