I only have time to start the coffee......you will have to dig through the cupboards and see what you can find to eat.

The countdown to when we leave has started...I still don't have everything packed so I will be running home to toss a few things in a suitcase. 
Get ready for a few pictures..I usually take waaayyyy too many.

i'm back from a day with my cousin and a visit with her mother, one of her daughters and a couple of her grandkids.  oh, and stopped at the cemetery where my parents and grandparents (and her stepfather) are buried, and had a great lunch at a fairly new restaurant in Colonial Beach, VA -- my dad's hometown.  i am not physically tired, did little but sit, but am emotionally exhausted.  but it's done now, another set of farewells, on my way to Michigan.  yay!

RRC, have a grand time.

Marty, hope you actually FOUND that perfect brisket!

Robert, you picked a smaller project this time, sounds like.  that whole kitchen was a LOT!

LynneAnne, ok, so you've been to Rolling Thunder before, got it.  hope Williamsburg treats you well.  i was there for 3+ years, have only been back twice since then, and that's not one of the places i'll need to say g'bye to, for sure.  but if you're a history buff, or an out-of-town tourist, it's worth while, and Chowning's Tavern and the King's Arms will always be good restaurants!
