The Lodge opens a little later every morning.
That gives me time to do other things that need to be done.
Take Happy out to play. And P&P.
Put my cereal on to soak.

Go over to "We the People" and stir up trouble.
Have that second pot of coffee. "RRC", I can not imagine how you let yourself run out of coffee! How are you going to make it out to the car to go get more if you haven't had a few cups first. Well, guess you'll just have to call 911.

I am here....been a wild and crazy day already. The store was packed from the moment we opened but luckily I had a nail appointment so I got a short break.
I am only on my second cup of coffee but I have reheated it at least 3 times since it keeps sitting here getting cold.It is only Thursday and it feels like I have worked 30 hours.

You bet it is Kooner...I am sitting here by myself enjoying a calm moment....I look around and my heart swells with pride at all we have accomplished and all the we have overcome in the short time the store has been open. [2 partners walked out in the first 3 months and opened an mirror business downtown]

wow, RRC, i didn't realize that 2 others bailed on you in the beginning, but it really looks like you've become a success without them, so clearly they just made life harder for themselves. and you remaining two, as well. but that had to suck big rocks.... as for them opening a competing business, well, there's a saying that i first heard in my 30s, "what goes around, comes around."
'nuf said. i'm sad that i won't get to meet you in PA in August.
