I caught a little bit of this earlier tonight. I couldn't believe that guy. Gay cure? Yeah right.

I've always believed that people are born gay.

...not to mention the over 1000 different animal species that have been proven to have a portion of their population that is gay. You can't tell me insects and animals make a conscious choice to be 'gay'.

Rachel just needs to pray harder! Fundamentalists have always targeted homosexuality, and never let logic or common sense interfere with their homophobic beliefs. I'm always intrigued by the way these folks feel comfortable calling themselves "Christians," yet they cite Old Testament authority for their hatred of gays, and stubbornly cling to such anti-Christian beliefs. Ask one to show anywhere in the New Testament where Christ condemned ANYONE for anything! I say that if Christ didn't do it, then who am I or they to do it?

I am always inpressed by the business-like politeness with which Rachel treats those she disagrees with, granting them their human dignity, before skewering them with their own facts. ("Just the facts, ma'am"). She's a class act.
