When you think back over this year as we approach 2013, what is the most important lesson you think you have learned?  I always like to look back over the year to see what I have learned or what I could have learned, but didn't pay attention to.

Today, as I read your good question Helen, and giving some thought to it,

I realize one thing more than any other sticks out prominently in my mind,

and that is to -  as much as possible, deal or attend to things that need

my attention as soon as possible, for, the longer I leave or neglect ticking

the items of my `to do' list, the more stress I build-up for myself,

and I finally get it, that it's not the actual thing I need to do,

but rather, it's the TIME I waste not doing it that creates the ill-ease.

Silly things like, getting that pile of ironing done, writing all my Christmas cards out,

up-dating my Will, sift through boxes of old photos,

tidy up my linen press that is a mess, lol!

I think I can,I know I can. Not everyone is nice even tho I hope they are.

I learned to listen to advice

and

I learned to listen to myself

choosing that advice or not choosing

Sometimes it takes me time to find out what my goal is.  I have to walk down a lot of paths with a lot of wrong turns before I find out where I need to go.  I guess that's my lesson for the year.

Take time to think positive and act positive.
