Mental illness is a terrible thing...sounds like Kai saved the day by stopping the crazy dude from killing people.

I suppose it was a good thing that Kai did come along, or others may have been injured.  

Makes a person wonder what triggered Mr. McBrides rampage - very sad.

Not quite as impressive as the stories about Japanese soldiers that survived in the jungles of the Phillipine, etc. for 25-30 years but still an interesting story.
