Arctic Temperatures

I'm in Maryland and it is 22 degrees with gusts of wind up to 25 mph. I had to run out with the dog and the little 7 lb miniature Chihuahua stared at me like I was nuts. I sitting in front of the TV with a nice cup of hot chocolate. What are some of your favorite things to do in the cold weather?

Supposed to get to 3F tonight. Presently 17F. Windy. The dog is crossing his legs rather than go out.

A friend of mine lives in the northern catskills near Middleburgh NY and said it was minus 11 this morning. I can't imagine that. 12 degrees was bad enough. I'm with the dog. Our little miniature Chihuahua is content to do the same. I've been sending my son out with him, because it takes me longer to get dressed than he's willing to stay out.

17 here. Gonna get down to 12 tonight. Maybe more snow tomorrow. Hard to believe we have more snow than Illinois. Maybe those boys should bring their snowboards down here.

It was supposed to go down to 25 degrees in the North GA Mtns w/90% chance of precipitation and up to 1/4" of ice. Since my classes were cancelled for tomorrow and I couldn't have gotten down the hill where the cabin I was re going was located if it was ice coated, I decided to leave and drive to see one of my friends just north of Atlanta. Still in the edge of the winter storm advisory but going to be considerably warmer and I can let Brandy out in the back yard instead of walking her on the side of a mountain. I'll head back to FL on Saturday or Sunday.
