I don't undertand this.  I would throw the husband off the cliff, not his lover.

That would have been my reaction too I think. From reading the article though, might just have been the proximity of the lover and spur of the moment. I notice the husband ran away quickly and left the lover to the wrath of the wife. He knew he was in deep shit.

My antiquated computer would not load that up but it reminds me of the old joke.

A man's wife is cheating on him with a variety of men. One day he comes home and finds her in bed with a man and he shoots her. The police ask, "Well, why did you shoot your wife?" He responds, "I thought it would be better than shooting a different man every day."

I think my reaction would be to go home and load all his stuff in boxes and leave them in the driveway while having the locks changed. I wouldn't care about seeing or dealing with his chosen other.
