People say there is crap on TV, and there is. But there are so many good shows as well, especially on cable. Which are your favorite shows to watch? Which are the one ones you are waiting for? ( I am waiting for Homeland. I am in love with Saul, a middle aged Jewish guy)

i just started watching season 2 of The Borgias from HBO starring Jeremy Irons...checked out of the library...for the most part i watch pbs and dvds..normal broadcast tv pretty much irritates me so i avoid it
I love " So You think You Can Dance" I like it because it show casing not only young trained talent, but talent from the streets. You also get to see and understand the differences between differnt styles - contemporary, jazz, hip hop, latin, ballroom, etc. I love learning the differnce in styles but also the differences in choreography and choreographers.
I am waiting for "person of interest" love the premise and the show. There are a few others that I enjoy, but these are my favorites right now.
Castle.....Bones......Elementary and Grimm.
Right now, I am enthralled with Newsroom. Sunday night's episode was riveting, but you have to be into journalism, I think. I like Homeland coming up.
Also, my husband and I watch Under the Dome and Walking Dead. I like talky movies and he likes action. These two series have just the right mix so that we can watch them together and be happy.
Sunday Morning is a favorite of both of us.
Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife are shows that I watch religiously and alone.
It's good and it's not good. I always used to like Stephen King novels. This series is like the cartoon version . It's good enough to be entertaining.
I keep wondering why I'm watching "Under The Dome" myself. "Riveting" it ain't, but it isn't quite bad enough to be a train wreck, either - Unlike most of what's on TLC. So far, all "UtD" has done is aggravate me and re-affirm my long-held belief that all Steven King does is recycle cheesy old 50's and 60's horror movie plots, with modern-day moral and ethical concerns - and violence - churned into the mix.
He is readable, though, for his character development and detail all of which are entertaining. And what you say about Under the Dome is true, but we look forward to it each week.
Dexter, Unsolved Mysteries, Castle and Turner Classic Movies.
I watch the same programs as Problem. Pretty much only watch the regular channels for news (mostly our weather) and World News at 6:30 pm.
