so somehow it becomes her fault and she has to pay the penalty for the boys having impure thoughts?

this inculcates the concept that men 'jist ain't responsible fer their johnsons'  to begin with and also says something about the school adminstrator that would make me think about not leaving a 12 year old around him...good job! teach them boys it ain't their fault they pop a chubby....it's them gurls what are to blame!

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was told she couldn't try out for her seventh-grade American football team because her male teammates were "beginning to have impure thoughts" about her.

Madison Baxter, who attends a private Christian school outside Atlanta, had played football with the sixth-grade team but was told she wasn't welcome at try-outs this year.

She has played the sport since the second grade and comes from a sporting family, with a father and grandfather both football enthusiasts.

But Strong Rock Christian Academy school administrator Patrick Stuart told Madison's mother she couldn't play anymore as the other players in the team would begin lusting after her.

Her mother Cassy Blythe told Atlanta's WXIA-TV: "In the meeting with the CEO of the school, I was told that the reasons behind it were one, that the boys were going to start lusting after her and have impure thoughts about her and that the locker room talk was not appropriate for a female to hear even though she had a separate locker room from the boys.

this kind of goes hand in hand with that....the patriarchal attitude...judging by the way many men act and react, there are a hell of a lot more virgin births than we thought....

"If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament." Florynce Kennedy

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Despite barely beating a midnight deadline, hundreds of jeering protesters helped stop Texas lawmakers from passing one of the toughest abortion measures in the country.

As the protesters raised the noise to deafening levels in the Texas Senate chamber late Tuesday, Republicans scrambled to gather their colleagues at the podium for a stroke-of-midnight vote.

"Get them out!" Sen. Donna Campbell shouted to a security guard, pointing to the thundering crowd in the gallery overhead that had already been screaming for more than 10 minutes.

"Time is running out," Campbell pleaded. "I want them out of here!"

It didn't work. The noise never stopped and despite barely beating the midnight end-of-session deadline with a vote to pass the bill, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said the chaos in the chamber prevented him from formally signing it before the deadline passed, effectively killing it.

Dewhurst denounced the protesters as an "unruly mob." Democrats who urged them on called the outburst democracy in action.

In either point of view, a raucous crowd of chanting, singing, shouting demonstrators effectively took over the Texas Capitol and blocked a bill that abortion rights groups warned would close most abortion clinics in the state.

"They were asking for their voices to be heard," said Sen. Wendy Davis of Fort Worth, who spent nearly 11 hours trying to filibuster the bill before the outburst. "The results speak for themselves."

The final outcome took several hours to sort out.

Initially, Republicans insisted the vote started before the midnight deadline and passed the bill that Democrats spent the day trying to kill. But after official computer records and printouts of the voting record showed the vote took place Wednesday, and then were changed to read Tuesday, senators retreated into a private meeting to reach a conclusion.

unbelievable!

not only do they believe the ends justify the means but they actually bleat that closing 37 of 42 women's clinics in the state will lead to better quality women's health care...

I'm only glad I don't live in one of those states. How idiotic and then they tried to cheat and change the time stamps.

the woman who introduced that bill stated that rape kits were to 'clean them out' as tho a good douche would prevent a pregnancy and if they hadn't, then 5 months was too late....what an ignorant bimbo....

But this is always the mentality of patriarchal societies and football is a patrairchal society.  The Taliban wraps it's women up so that the men don't have impure thoughts.  So many think women shouldn't be in the military because the soldiers might have impure thoughts.  Bah, humbug.

I take full responsibility for my impure thoughts....I enjoy the hell out of them!

My state just passed a law stating a woman must be subjected by law to an ultrasound probe if considering an abortion. The cost must be paid by her.

Outrageously stupid...I hope they do a class action suit against that or fire anyone involved in passing that law Shadowman. By fire I mean make sure they don't get elected again or set them on fire, either works for me.

when the tundra twit was mayor of wasilla, a woman would have to PAY for the rape kit and processing in order to pursue charges if she was raped. the cost of processing a rape kit can run about 1,000 bucks.....great way to protect women huh?

Those boys are having "unpure thoughts" about their best friend's big sister, the English teacher, the lunch lady,  and the girl with the biggest boobs in 7th grade....SO WHAT? It's what 12 year olds DO!!  Yes...even the good Christian boy who is being groomed for the priesthood is wanting to SEE MORE!!   I'm sure once this girl or ANY girl becomes part of the team and be playing games and after  the "novelty" has worn off of her "female presence and essence",  its not like the whole team and the boys in the band,  for that matter is gonna be on the playing field wondering how they could lure her back behind the bleachers and have their way with her.  PUHLEASE!! Its ridiculous how something like this becomes such an issue and others things are LET GO!!

By the way Problemo......work on the titles of your posts

'teaching men to not be responsible'

We don't have to be taught....it's a gift!

i dunno kim .. when i was 12 the novelty never wore off .. still hasn't .. and i'll still take that trip under the bleachers every chance i get .. ehh.. maybe i'm just a hard case tho .. so don't go by me ..

Below is one woman legislator's response to all the government regulation of women's reproductive parts:

Female Ohio Democrat Introduces Bill To Regulate The Reproductive Health Of Men

According to the Dayton Daily News, State Senator Nina Turner introduced SB 307, which requires men  to visit a sex therapist, undergo a cardiac stress test, and get their sexual  partner to sign a notarized affidavit confirming impotency in order to get a  prescription for Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs. The bill also  requires men who take the drugs to be continually “tested for heart problems,  receive counseling about possible side effects and receive information about “pursuing celibacy as a viable lifestyle choice.”

The bill is a response to the Republican effort to pass House Bill 125, which  would ban abortion if the fetus has a heartbeat, which is about six weeks after  conception. Turner, an opponent of the bill, says if Republicans are allowed to  legislate women’s health, men’s health should also be regulated. “I certainly  want to stand up for men’s health and take this seriously and legislate it the  same way mostly men say they want to legislate a woman’s womb,” Turner said.
