eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. you wouldn't do good at my house pat .. thats just about what it is .. 900 sq. feet .. i do have my shop tho .. but thats not all that big either ..

While we were waiting for our house to be built in WY we bought an RV I don't remember it's size It had a small bedroom and bath a little kitchen and living area. We did that for a few months and I never want to do it again. The house was supposed to be finished before I retired in Sept. of 04, it wasn't completed until the following May, we moved into the house in Feb because I couldn't take the small space anymore. The workers had to work around us.

I actually do very well in small spaces.  I tend to keep things better organized, get by with less and find ways of being more efficient and have things do double duty and serve multiple purpose.  I have always wanted a big old house, but to be honest I wouldn't know what to do with all that room.  I would have to invite friends and family to stay with me all the time to put the space to good use.  :)

I live in an old farmhouse although it is a "fourwing" home about a 100 years old the assessment slip says about 1050 ft living area.  I lived in a tiny cubicle for years while in the military and had to share that usually with some sociopath or such.  I remember we had conversations as to why we had less space than prison cells. I also lived in a backpacking tent for four months straight while through-hiking the Appalachian Trail and previously while section hiking it for more than a month each year for three years. I am afraid that with more space I would get more unneeded stuff. If I built or bought a different house I would like less than 1000 ft living area and like T2, simplify. My theory is the smaller the easier to clean, heat, cool, maintain, etc.

Great house.  I bet it would be fun decorating all the rooms too, but I would end up just living in one or two of them.  LOL I am jealous of the porch though.  I have always wanted a porch, with rocking chairs and swings to go with it.

Yes, a porch like that would be great. One could lay out there in a chair and wave at the neighbors and make remarks when they walk past.  But those don't look like picnic tables out front, more like fish cleaning tables?

they have flea markets every Sunday in summer.

it is beautiful, but it's an old timey general store down the road from me.

this is the building behind the general store.not sure what it is.
