Carve out some time this week to watch "The Pianist," "Airplane," and "Braveheart." They're among the 71 titles that will vanish from Netflix streaming on August 1.
We found the full list of what's expiring from Netflix on Friday over at Nerdiots. Prepare your Netflix queue and catch up on these movies before they're gone.
Don't freak out. This is normal for Netflix. The company routinely removes movies and adds new ones.

In addition, here's a list of 19 movies that will be added to Netflix's streaming services on August 1, also courtesy of Nerdiots. Note that this may not be the complete list of incoming titles.

I wonder how they decide on which titles to no longer offer?
I read a while back that there would be a thousand or more removed in all . Maybe this will be the first batch . But i could be wrong on that number . I'm not a member right now .
t, i think it has to do with licensing and distribution agreements, i seem to remember that there have been conflicts between netflix and some content suppliers. there have been fights about payments to distributors and what are exclusive licenses (you saw that murdoch thru his fox corporation was trying to acquire time warner? scarey idea that the cable supplier also is the provider of content when it comes to news)
thanks for the heads up .. got a few of em on my list ..
Nothing worse then something you enjoy watching going away. I'm still depressed that the neighbor woman bought black out curtains.
