Puppy in toliet (Kona_Dlite via Reddit)

Here's another clever husky who's ready to flush this heat wave

By Death Valley standards, it isn't all that hot In Eugene, Ore., where Reddit user Kona_Dlite lives, though temperatures are climbing into the 90s. But even that's uncomfortable for fuzzy husky puppies, who have been known to take extreme measures to beat the heat. Dog owners have to take precautions lest their dogs drink out of the toilet, but most don't have to worry about them turning it into a private tub. Here's one dog who's going to be the proud owner of a brand new kiddie pool today, and one dog owner who has yet another housemate reminding him it's not a good idea to leave the seat up. [Source]

i had a siberian and a samoyed husky and they hated the water .. i bought em their own pool .. not real deep , just a little plastic pool big enough for the two of em to lay down in and not drown , maybe a foot or so deep .. if it was 99 outside they wouldn't go in .. if i gave em a cookie they wouldn't go in .. i had a big pool and they wouldn't go in there either .. sometimes i'd give em a bath and throw em in the pool to rinse off and they would freak .. i'd hold em and try to keep em calm but they'd go ballistic .. i mean like totally postal man .. huskies just don't like the water .. nope they don't

My sister and BIL have an Australian Shepard, who stayed with me over the 4th.  In the evenings when some of the locals were firing off their private fireworks the dog became very nervous...poor thing.  Anyway, one of the safe spot she found was the shower...it was also kind of cool for her (it has been in the 90's here for the last few days) so even after the noise died down it was hard to get her out of there.  She even attempted to join when I was taking my shower!   However, take her down to the beach and she wants no part of the water...smart dog.  lol
