Weird thing to me about up here, people don't "dress up" to go to church. It's jeans or what ever they throw on. I can't do that.
I understand. Remember Sunday Best? To me, that was a show of respect, as in would you go to someone's funeral in jeans?
Boy we sound like a bunch of old farts.
The clothes i wear every day are the same clothes i wear on Sunday . I wear what fits . And style isn't one of them . Accept me for what i feel in my heart , not for what i wear ...
Crest....that reminds me of one time in church, we were sitting behind a family who had a darn near PICNIC in church. They brought out the snacks, the drinks, you name it. Church is for ONE HOUR...do you REALLY need to bring FOOD? I can understand for a baby, you bring a bottle but cheerios and cookies, and yogurt. Oh and did I mention the MOM, once she got the kids (late elementary aged children, by the way), she began filing her nails?! I used to let my kids bring a "quiet toy" when they were real little but they only were allowed to HOLD it, not rip roaring up and down the pew.
one time,i saw a skunk in church...he sat in his own pew.
Ba - dom- bomp!! :-)
yea,i know,but i couldn't help myself.
