That's why I don't have dental now. I think most of the big work is done. Cleanings are about $150. I go more than twice a year because of gum problems, but I don['t think insurance would be worth it.
I don't think it's worth it either unless ya on welfare . My x had god awful teeth , the county paid for hers . Wonder if a person could get dental insurance with no teeth ?
There is no way in hell I would go without one tooth, I guess it's vanity but I want to die with all my teeth in the best condition I can have them. I would rather go without a car.
I'VE ALWAYS HAD TO VISIT THE DENTIST OFTEN AND I BRUSH AND FLOSS.MY HUSBAND RETIRED 2YRS AGO AND WE KEPT THE SAME INS THAT HIS PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT PAID ALL OF NOW WE PAY OVER 1,000 A MONTH FOR BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD. THAT COVERS IT ALL AFTER DEDUCTIONS ARE PAID BUT SEEMS LIKE WE ALWAYS HAVE TO PAY A LOT FOR EVERYTHING WE HAVE DONE AND I HATE IT.WHAT CAN WE DO......NOTHING GOTTA HAVE IT.
A hurting mouth and hurting feet...two kinds of pain that bother me the most I think.
No dental insurance but my dentist says he gives me a 20% discount because his office staff doeasn't have to deal with paperwork. Luckily, I haven't had too many big high dollar dental issues.
I never even had a cavity till in my 40's, nothing special I've done, just genetics I think. Chemo kind of messed up my teeth but I was able to fix everything and no problem since then.
I have pulled my own teeth when they got loose enough to get my pliers on it . Once i got one half way out and it stuck . Had to go too dentist for that one . Once i had one pulled above and one below . Going home i couldn't keep my mouth shut . My last tooth cost 100 dollars to have pulled .
Country boys will survive, like the Hank Williams Jr. song. Pulling your own teeth! Ay caramba!
