Our housing cost is low less than $350. our utilities are about $350. that includes TV, Internet, Phone, Gas, Electric, Trash and water. Probably about $800 for food.  Add another $350 for property tax and Insurance. Gas for Cars $120. Ins. for cars $70. another $250 for gifts or charities. About $2,300. If we purchase something for the house or clothes etc. a little more.I think $2,500. would cover it all.

In winter we spend more on gas and less on water so it evens out, summer we spend a lot more on water but our gas bill is between $9.00 and $12.00.

That would be about it for me as well except for my property taxes.  So add $900 to that amount each month while I live in NJ.

900 dollars a month . Wow . Most people around here at most would be 1100 a year . My aunt bill was little over 650 dollars . She is trying to pay 100 a month . Thankfully I don, pay any taxes except food an things I ordered .

My monthly check is 1268 dollars

Bills are,

300 rent

cable and internet 97

power 70

food  cleaning supplies 300

i think everybodies expenses are different . mine are pretty low because i have no mortgage .. i still have electric, phone , internet , water , taxes and house insurance , car ins. , gas , food .. and oh yeah netflix .. no more cable or dish .. i'm probably gonna get the nba package thru the roku this year tho .. but with everything i'm under a grand a month .. i live pretty simply yet i don't do without anything ..

That's about what my taxes are.  Can you imagine?  I could travel to Europe every year if I didn't have to pay close to $9000 in taxes.

yeah .. i used to live in jersey too .. i left in 89 .. my son still lives there .. my taxes down here in florida with the homestead exemption are less than a grand a year .. my house ins. cause of the hurricaine's tho is over 2 grand .. and i don't have a big house .. ins. co's have run amok down here .. but if you have a house that was built after hurricaine andrew in 92 your ins is less cause they built em better supposedly .. you could probably live down here in florida on what you save for your taxes alone cresty .. somethin to think about .. and .. no snow .. ever .. all you have to do is work on your tan ..

Our friends near Myrtle Beach pay 300 a year for taxes! They are about 20 minutes away from the beach, have a lovely house in a nice community, and they go to the beach all the time. The beaches are free down there.

We were in Point Pleasant last night. The waves were huge. I posted a video of them on my FB page--don't know how to post it here.

Anyway, the parking is 15-20 dollars during the day, then everyone has to pay to go on the beach. We just walked the boardwalk and the beach was closed because of the big waves from a storm the night before. Beautiful!  But the Jersey shore is expensive.

yeah my sister just moved to myrtle beach from allentown pa. she had a condo there for years tho and she sold it and sold her place in allentown and they got a townhouse in myrtle beach .. i never asked her about taxes and ins there tho.. i don't think she went far enough south tho cause it still gets cold there in the winter .. in the summer its pretty hot from florida to carolina .. in fact it might be hotter in carolina in the summer than florida .. we get up in the 90's all the time but we never get above 99 .. this year its been about 92 most everyday for a high .. some days less .. but the winters are why you'd come here .. we get to the 70's most days and down to the 50's most nights .. and yeah we do get cold snaps every now and then but if its 42 down here you can bet your sweet ass its 11 in carolina .. or less .. good and bad about everything tho ain't there ??
