Got a favorite coffee mug...maybe you wash it everyday so you can use it every morning....or you use it all day? Or it does't matter?
Assuming most of you start the day with coffee...how do you fix it? drip, press, percolater, instant.
Brand?....Flavored or not?
Sweetner or not...cream, milk etc...
I don't drink it everyday...just on the weekends...but I do love it when I have the time to savor it and sip...its a relaxation thing for me.
For those who were there...check out the mug!!!! Memories...huh?

I drink regular coffee from a drip coffee maker every morning until the four - six cups I make is gone. I add a couple dashs of homogenized milk from a can because it is convenient and I like it. I don't drink milk otherwise. I don't use the mug below but I keep it on hand in case any Garrison Keillor fans or Lutherans come to visit.
I am both......a Garrison Keillor fan and a Minnesota Lutheran! :-) Have you read the thing about Lutheran Air Lines.....where they have a big urn of coffee, and everyone brings a covered dish?? I love it.
I'll take my coffee decaffeinated (doc's orders), with powdered creamer, or maybe half and half. Ever since I was told to cut back on the coffee and use decaf...I have cut my consumption down to two to three cups a day. I have found that I wasted too much if I brewed a pot in the morning, so I am mostly drinking instant now. Coffee's too pricey to waste. And, besides, Folger's makes a pretty decent instant decaf. My daughter was drinking my coffee by mistake one day, and when she discovered it was mine.....it was the creamer that gave it away; she said the coffee tasted pretty good. I figure it's a small price to pay for saving my kidney.
But.....that having been said......once in a while, I love to stop at Starbucks and treat myself to a Café Mocha.
Aw. I still miss the old days on Eons every single day. Waaaaah.
The best thing I liked about being retired was opening a fresh bag of coffee and making that first every so fresh cup and leisurely being able to drink it and read things online. It was like the best vacation ever, since I have been running around working my whole adult life, as many of us have.
I used to go to Myrtie Beach a lot and seemed the coffee there was always better for some reason . It is so good to open a fresh can of coffee , the aroma .....
I have a Stainless cup I've had for 30 years . Holds 20 ounces . I give it a decent washing about twice a year . Other times just wipe out . Holds 20 ounces of Coffee . I have had many Coffee makers over the years . Just didn't last long . Four months ago i bought a Bunn . Love it and has a 3 year warranty . I have a percolator pot (electric) that makes good coffee but hard to keep the grounds out . I refuse to drink instant . Always brew mine . I use non flavored and i use Walmart brand 100% Colombian . Works for me . Some days i may drink 30 cups a day . Some day maybe 2 . Trying my best to get hooked on it . Drink more in winter . I drink mine Black , no Cow in mine . Decaf some times .....
Only thing's i ever got from Eon's was a Frisbee . I do like that cup .....
During the week I get a large hot coffee from DD, cream and two sugars. It takes me most of the morning to drink it and then I am done with coffee for the rest of the day or I can't sleep that night. I don't sleep at night anyway but it is worse when I drink coffee in the afternoon. On weekends, I brew between 4 to 8 cups of DD regular roast coffee in my drip machine (depending on if I have company or not). At the RI house I have a favorite mug, it has a T on the front in script and a chip in the rim, but it is by the handle so it never bothers me. I tend to get up earlier when I am down there so I will have a couple of cups as I while away the morning reading or gazing out at the water. In Bean town, it really depends what my agenda is for the day. Sometimes I am up and out and sometimes I am doing chores watching HGTV and sipping coffee made the same way as above.
I used to drink my coffee (Instant) with sugar . I went on a second shift job . They brewed their coffee Maxwell house . I started drinking it black . No way i could drink it any other way . I don't have the nerve to drink any with milk ...
I should have specified 8 ounce cups to be more accurate. The 8 cup level on my coffee pot is really only 6 "real" cups. Some coffee pots are even more confusing and measure it in 4 ounce cups. Mostly I use the regular Aldis store brand. It says to refrigerate after opening to preserve freshness but I seldom do that. I go through about one 34 oz can a month. I augment that with a couple of cups from McDonalds each week.
I have a pottery cup that I made in Laguna Beach years ago...the lip is perfect...the shape...the handle...custom made just the way I like it. I have others...I collect coffe cups as momentos of places I've traveled...and kids love to give teachers coffee mugs as gifts...I have lots.
Right now I have a drip coffee maker...I use the unbleached filters....distilled water...and Folgers Black Silk, a dark roast. Full bodied...quite coffeeeeiieee.
I like half and half creamer and a packet of truvia. Sometimes I use a flavored creamer...I favor hazelnut.
I do like a Starbucks triple shot Mocha latte with whipped cream..yummm.
At Christmas I buy a pound of Barney's White Christmas...and bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream...Merry Christmas to me and anybody who drinks coffee with during the holidays....weeee!!!!
A friend of mine went to the local Christian Ministry and bought 50 cups for 25 cents each . I'm always looking for the perfect cup . I have some of the heave thick mug's from an old diner . I have a couple Hardees gave away with free fill ups . Wonder if they would still honor them ...
I have a cup I bought at the Space Needle in Seattle that I use a lot. And my son gave me one from his job.....It's black, and says NRO on it. When you put hot coffee in it....it turns red, white and blue. I like it. My daughter has a skull cup she drinks out of at home, and a stainless steel go cup she takes with her to work that holds an entire 10-cup coffee pot full.
Coffee has never had an effect on my sleeping. The only reason I drink decaf is because my doc says caffeine is dehydrating, and I have a kidney that requires a lot of water to stay running ok.
