Enuff already!

Yesterday I was in the car and had the satellite radio on. I checked every news channel on there and every single one had the Zimmerman trial on--live.

Is there no other news? Is the nation back to work? Is the middle class resurging? Have the wars ended? What's going on with the stock market?

Put it on one channel and let it go at that. Refer to it on the other channels. It's like the Arias case all over again. Or, remember Natalie Holloway? No wonder Americans aren't protesting what is wrong with the economy in this country or the wars. We are being lulled into passivity by the media. Damn.

it'll all be over in a few days cresty .. and then i'm sure there will be a new story to grab the spotlight .. maybe the hernandez case .. the guy who played football for the patriots .. that case don't interest me all that much tho .. that may change as it goes on but as of now not so much ..

I find it interesting as well and watch it sometimes, but I'd like to see the country get back to work and would like to know what is being done towards that end.

Healthcare is a biggie for me too since I am helping my daughter with her health insurance which has just gone up to $1021 a month.

You are probably right about the Hernandez case too. That will be the next thing.

yeah maybe tsarnaev but with that case we all know how thats gonna end .. he ain't got a snowballs chance in hell of gettin off and we all know it .. i think that might be one we can all agree on .. and hernandez seems to have a lot of evidence mountin up against him .. if its all true ( and we don't know yet do we ) but if it is he'll more than likely cop a plea and we'll be onto the next case .. and frankly i'm not really lookin for another case .. the only thing that got me so involved in the zimmerman trial was how overwhemingly wrong all the media reports have been for the most part and it really pissed me off . i felt like it became this political football and they were gonna hang him to please the public opinion about him .. even tho the public opinion was based on so many media untruths .. who cares .. kinda like lets invade iraq because of 911 .. everytime they'd mention iraq and 911 in the same breath i'd get so pissed cause i knew where it was goin .. how'd that come out ?? anybody feel better about the iraq war now ??

I am not following the Zimmerman thing but agree with you 100% frenchy. The whole issue seems to have been tried in the court of public opinion before any of the facts were truly established. It is my hope that the legal system, being allowed to play out in the court of law, will result in a just verdict....if not the appeals will be on going for years to come and perhaps eventually the politics will fall off and the truth will prevail. That is my hope anyway.

There will always be another sensational case to take its' place, there are at least three here in the Boston area, the Whitey Bulger trial, the Hernandez case and the Marathon bomber case....just glad I won't be called to sit on any of those juries! At leat I hope not.

the bomber(allegedly at this point, but seriously!!) was in court today, pleaded not guilty to all 30 counts, will be back in court august or september... the hernandez thing is just, i don't know what, he's either the stupidest 'gangster' around, or thinks he is the smartest one... seems like his pals are ratting him out...up here in boston, there is something in the news about him every day...
