Been sick last couple days with a Phosphate infection . Seems My Boys have been trying to cook out because every time i p it's on fire .

I know you all have your own Religious views , but have you ever attended a Camp Ground where there's preaching . Lots of people to see and maybe even know some ?

Well i have one next door to my house . It started back in 1853 and is Methodist . They have it 2nd week in August and last's 2 weeks . The red circle on Picture is where i live .

Some of those Tents sell for 30,000 or more . Really nice being in one when it's raining .....

It is a family camp meeting's . I'm sure you don't have to attend the preaching part . They have many singing groups that perform making it easier to take .

Two years ago i developed a Bacteria infection in my blood and it affected my Phosphate and really all over . Ended up in hospital for a week . Took months to get my strength back . Doc said i had an infection and didn't want me to get what i got two years ago that could have killed me ...

For Wayne:

His finger did feel kinda kinda wicked ....

Ah, eeeeeeeeeeez, Wayne!  Ewwwwwwwwwww.

AS to the camp meeting, my grandparents lived in a predominantly black neighborhood in Bedford Stuyvesant, NY, and on Sunday nights I was able to listen to a tent church meeting. The Tent was on the corner of her block.  I sat on the front stoop and watched as the black people went by in their finery, women with beautiful hats, men looking so good, kids all dolled up out of respect for the service.

Then the music started.  It was so lively, so moving. I was jealous that I had to be Catholic and couldn't go to the tent church on the corner by my grandmother's house.

That is one thing i despise about organized religion , Can't do this can't do that .

No I don't think they were ever in our area of Michigan. At least I never heard about them.

I was trying to make a connection with the things in the initial post. Wayne, are you thinking of taking the boys to one of those miracle healing tents? If so keep use posted.  It is funny that when I did a search for Methodist camp on Buffalos Shoals Road it comes up with one on:        Can that be a coincidence???  :-) or do they specialize there?
