anybody hear about this ??

seems that over in china they're havin some kinda problem with their pigs and poultry .. they been fishin about 16,000 dead pigs outta the river and had another 1000 birds die .  they been watchin a new strain of bird flu but so far they ain't said all that much about it other than they're watchin it .. had about a dozen people die from it so far and its not just in one place .. i'm not sure if this has anything to do with the pigs or not but swine flu ?? avaian flu or bird flu ?? and 16,000 dead pigs in the river ?? hmmm.. any theories ?? thats about all we can do at this point .. its not like the chinese are all that honest with us about this kinda stuff anyway ..

I heard about the flu, it has a high death rate for the people who get it, they are saying it's associated with people who handle chickens however 4 people who died that wasn't the case. This is worse than the flu that killed millions in Europe in the 1800's and I don't trust China with telling the truth. So far they say it doesn't pass from person to person. I am hoping thats true but who knows for sure.

and you don't think all these dead pigs ain't kinda mysterious lifey ?? and the birds just dropin outta the skies ?? i dunno .. could be connected but maybe not ..i don't trust the chinese to tell the truth either tho so either way whatever it is thats goin on we won't get the scoop from them .. we probably won't know till some of them pigs come washin up on our shores ..

If this starts spreading I hope travel is restricted between China and other countries. I know it won't happen, that would curtail spending...the almighty money thing rules the world.

yeah you're right rose .. a lot of people think that ww1 was stopped because of the peace treaty they hammered out at the end but it was the spanish flu that made em quit fightin .. neither side had enough men to finish the war cause the spanish flu killed so many people .. and i think you're right somethin like that will happen again.. you'd think that this time we'd be a bit better prepared but i think the fact that anybody can jump on a plane and be anywhere in the world in a few hours would nullify any great leaps we made in medicine .. we couldn't do that in 1918 .so it will spread like wildfire once it gets goin .. and with all the anitbiotics they give the animals nowadays we as people are gettin them same antibiotics too so a lot of them are bein made ineffective from their constant use .. and lifey's right too .. money dictates what they'll do .. kinda like in jaws when the mayor said we can't close these beaches this is amity island and we need summer dollars .. who cares if there's a giant shark out there waitin for them to ring the dinner bell by splashin around ..
