A new member of my family....
This is Schotzie, thats German for little treasure, a little male Dachsie. He's exhasted. He got rescued from doggie jail a couple hours ago, marked his territory by peeing on me....I think I've been adopted.

So far he's not much of a talker, but when he stretches out against me, he groans and gives a heavy sigh. Seems pretty expressive. I introduced him to some of my nieces and nephews and my Mom last evening...seems to be quite the little social butterfly...T, I think I will have will lots of willing babysitters when I need it.

What can I say, I'm easy...and he knows the way to this girl's heart. I had been checking the local animal control website for a couple weeks and saw this little boy yesterday and they said he was available, I called. he was still there, and I went and picked him up. He needs to gain a little weight, he's missed a few meals. but that's easy to take care of.
If only he could vacum, do laundry, and cook, I'm thinkin he might be perfect in every way.
The honeymoon is in full force.
