Lace knitting sounds like detailed work. I have been cutting out bags but have not gotten to sew. In fact I should probably be off of here in go sew. I think I'll do that in a few minutes.

Hi, Sue, Well it depends on what kind of lace knitting one does. There are some lace patterns that are pretty straight forward and others that are very detail oriented. I'm doing the latter (working on learning how to put designs together.) One of my last finished lace pieces (also of the latter variety) is this one.

I have some that my Grandmother did years ago and it is all beautiful but not as detailed as what you have here. That red one is very lovely.
