That's out of the way...

Over to the fairgrounds this afternoon and got my 2nd Pfizer vaccine...quite busy there as they were doing 850 shots today. I took ibuprofen when I got home and have been pushing fluids a bit to forestall any ill effects after this 2nd shot, though they say old folks like me don't always have reactions...will see if that hold true. I did my taxes this morning, too, so that's done. Don't plan any changes in my routine post vaccination for the foreseeable future.

The day after I got my second one I was very sore and very tired, worse than normal, but by the second day I was fine.

We finally got our first shot day-before-yesterday; ours was at our fairgrounds too. Seemed like it was run pretty well; 1 of the gals working thanked me for my patience in waiting--the wait was only about 2 min.--and I thanked her for her hard work (there were a lot of volunteers).

We got our 2nd Moderna shot this morning. Arm is starting to be sore, like a flu shot. No other symptoms yet.

I have to admit that the 2nd Moderna shot just kicked both of us in the butt for 24-30 hours. Not fun but better now.

Has anybody noticed an outbreak of fever blisters after the vaccine? Josi and I both had that happen after each shot. I don't often get them.

Haven't gotten them, PTB and I'm kind of prone to them. But we've only had the first shot; we'll see what the 2nd one brings. Hope you and Josi are feeling better anyway.
