Why did you join the group?

Personally, I joined because I have been big the majority of my life. I have dealt with a lot of the negativity that goes with it. It helps to be around people with shared experience. But not just that. I love curves. LOL! How bout you?

I joined this group on the old TBD, and eventually took it over. I joined because I am big, and as we get older, its harder to take off....or I don't try hard enough. I wanted to companionship of like people, support, and just the discussions that others don't understand. When I took the group over, I wanted to bring life into the group, then the starting over here. It seems to have caused a set back.

Yeah seems like folks are not very responsive. They join the group then nothing. Its like everybody is waiting for everybody else to say something. Or more succinctly, maybe we have a lot of readers in the group rather than a lot of writers...

i joined because i am a bbw, but it's not clear what you guys actually talk about, so i don't show up very often.
i'm not particularly interested in dieting, i'm fit -- a swimmer -- and in reasonably good health. i believe that if i wanted a man, i'd have one, but the intimacy issues scare me more than i'm willing to deal with, so my weight keeps the guys away. a cycle i don't seem to care about breaking. my life is full and busy, many friends IRL and online.... so what was it you wanted to read about?

Your weight only keeps the judgemental men away. I would dare say that most of the men who joins this group are of the judgement taht bbws are truly the best babes walking! I know they are in my book at least!
