I noticed some comments and thought this would make a good topic. Is there such a thing as someone being too heavy to handle sex...whether its a man or woman? Is that a cop out? What are your feelings on this.?
I can see where with some people, adjustments would be needed, but with willing, caring partners, this can be accomplished. How do you feel? Do you have problems? Does your partner?

I'm a heavy person....and the only time I have ever had any problems dealing with sexual relations was when I was going through menopause....I did lose interest then for several months. But once I was past that....I was into sex with a vengeance......I had lost time to make up for. Seriously...I have never had any problems because of my weight. There are different positions. My husband was smaller then me and we never had any problems...we enjoyed different postions. I wonder if we worry about out weight more then we need to..
I wonder if you men worry about your weight how it affects your partner?
And those of you who just like a larger person......do you encounter any problems when it comes to sex?
I'm a heavy person. Some positions may be difficult, but with a caring partner as you mentioned things can be worked out rather nicely.
I think that nature has made us endlessly inventive, and the Venus of Willendorf proves to me that guys have been trying to figure out ways to have sex with us for a really long time, so it's hardwired.

My weight has ranged over the years and I'll admit I've never had a partner that was large too, but where there's a will, there's a way. I shall be indiscreet and admit that about a decade ago I had sex standing up inside a redwood tree. Now mind you, he was a yoga instructor (LOL) but I still think that as long as we are adventurous, our avoirdupois shouldn't prevent us from enjoying relations of all kinds.

Now, the only limit I can see, and here, boys, I'm sorry, but it's true, if the aim is deep penetration, then it may be with some heavy people that your goods will have to be at least average in length. And for the ladies who have said that menopause, or hysterectomy, or hormonal changes, have decreased their desire for intercourse, think of it like you would cooking a nice meal for your man, it is always a good thing to have a satiated man about the house. Try using your body in inventive ways to stimulate him, I'm sure you can figure out that you've got more places for that than the average skinny minny. Go for it. Enjoy your body and have fun. Sex with your partner is part of communication, so break out the fantasies and see if you can't give each other a second (or third or fifth) honeymoon.
no problems yet, but i'll keep experimenting to see if i can find some to overcome.....
i'm both heavy and tall, and i like the weight of my man on top of me sometimes, so big partner isn't a problem in any way i've found yet.
lynn, I really love your take on life.....you go girlfriend!
I thought with all of my health issues I'd experience much more difficulty than I have. I think if you communicate with your partner continuously there are ways to overcome any thing, even in your love life!
