Bucephalus
He was Alexander the Great's warhorse.
When I was a child, I had statues of horses. One was a black stallion whose raised right foreleg had been broken off. I named him Bucephalus, and he was my favorite horse, despite his "injury," because he was so strong, well-muscled, and the look on his face was so fierce. A heroic stallion.
