TBD on Ning

The weekend is here!! That means week 5 is also amongst us!! We only got one more day left to recover from the Brett Favre 'revenge' game! Believe it or not--he doesn't get a bye week this week, but The Green Bay Packers do!!! I guess whoever put the schedule together saw that Green Bay was going to need more then a week to lick thier wounds after that game. Anyhow, here are the games being presented to us for week 5!!

Bye Week: Bears, Packers, Saints, Chargers

Here is a reminder of how the teams grouped up at the end of week 4:

The 4 and 0 teams

Colts, Giants, Saints, Broncos, and Vikings!

The 3 and 1 teams

49ers, Bears, Patriots, Jets, Ravens, and Bengals!!

The 2 and 1 teams

Eagles and Falcons!

The 2 and 2 teams

Cowboys, Redskins, Packers, Chargers, Steelers, Jaguars, and Texans!

The 1 and 2 team

Cardinals!

The 1 and 3 teams

Seahawks, Lions, Dolphins, Bills, and Raiders!

The 0 and 3 team

Panthers

And of course, the illustrious 0 and 4 teams

Rams, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Browns, and Titans!

There are no games were two undefeated teams are playing each other this week. However there is something that does come close. That will be the game where the 3 and 1 Bengals goes up against the equally 3 and 1 Ravens. Ravens of course are not 4 and 0 this week, because they lost last week's game to the Patriots, which might or might not have been caused by Tom Brady cheating! Do u think the emotions of that game will be carry over to this game?

There is going to be 2 'flip-flop' games played tomorrow. The 4 and 0 Vikings take on the 0 and 4 Rams. (I was wrong...,maybe Favre does have a day of rest tomorrow??).

And the 4 and 0 Colts takes on Melly's Hotness Quarterback team, the 0 and 4 Titans.

Some other 'interesting' games includes the Giants 4 and 0 Giants taking on the 1 and 3 Raiders. Why noteworthy? Because Eli Manning injured his heel last week, and at last report he is still questionable for a start this time around. If Manning doesn't start, it will be the first time in who knows how long. Manning did practice 'some' on Friday night, but he admitted it was not %100. If Mannings can not start, The Giants will have David Carr as thier starter. If David Carr should, God forbids, get injured as well, this will spell B-I-G-T-R-O-U-B-L-E for the Giants, because after carr...Giants have nobody with the title of the position of quarterback left on thier roster!!

A quick note about the 4 and 0 Broncos taking on the 3 and 1 Patriots!! I hope to goodness that Tom Brady tries, just tries to cheat on against the Broncos. That way The Broncos will seriously enjoy ripping brady's hide a good one!!!

And last--but not least--Hey UBU!! take heart!! Chiefs play Cowboys his weekend, and the Cowboys lost in week 4!! So maybe???

Personal note: Ok everyone!!! I would really love to see alot of involvement with this week's thread!! So if u have fun with these weekly get togethers, and you know of other football fans on the TBD line--how about gathering them all up and get them to join us this week??

So what game(s) will u be watching this week??

Here are this week's groupings! (Lot of changes this week!!! Lot and lot of changes!!)

The 5 and 0 teams:
Giants, Vikings, Broncos, and Colts.

The 4 and 0 team:
Saints

The 4 and 1 team:
Bengals.

The 3 and 1 teams:
Eagles, Bears, and Falcons.

The 3 and 2 teams:
Cowboys, Patriots, Ravens, Steelers, Jets and 49ers.

The 2 and 2 teams:
Cardinals, Packers, and Chargers.

The 2 and 3 teams:
Redskins, Seahawks, Jaguars, and Texans.

The 1 and 3 Team:
Panthers.

The 1 and 4 teams:
Lions, Bills, Raiders, and Browns.

The 0 and 5 teams:
Rams, Buccaneers, Chiefs, and Titans.

Some things of note:

AFC East: Jets and Patriots are tied in 1st place in the standings, however Jets edges out Patriots in % because The Jets have less points allowed. (Jets allowed 88 points, and Patriots allowed 91).

3 out of the 5 undefeated teams are on the National Confernce: (Giants, Vikings and Saints)

Both Confernces South and West Divisions have 0 and 5 teams.

Saints lead thier Division (NFC South) and they only played 4 games.

49ers lead thier Division (NFC West) and they only won 3 games!
Now now Wendy! They won 2 out of thier first 5 games!! It is not like they are in the 0 and 5 group! Besides, they had a great team 2 years ago when they started the season 9 and 0! But that doesn't help them now--does it?
Ohhhh,,,well..That's diffferent!! Never mind!
Heeyy!! I started a thread about the playoffs two weeks ago, but nobody was paying attention to it but me! I will do another one though--now that we know who playing the playoffs!
