It's Easter for us Christians. The day is a blessed one for those of us who believe in hope.
So, what constitutes a good day for me besides one bursting with hope? My response would be one of spontaneity, outdoor explorations, and fun filled laughter. I love the days at the beach, picnics at the park, street fairs, and carnivals.
It's a good day if I'm vertical and taking in air.
And "she" is next to me.
Everything else is icing on the cake.
What Bob said, jut different "she".
We know where it's at, right, good Sir???
hmmmm, I thought the pleasantries took place horizontally. lol
I could be wrong.
I don't have hope, I have drive.
A good day is when no ATV's or free roaming dogs run around on my property.
Whatever a good day is, I don't think this is it.
Monday morning after a wonderful week-end.
Groan, groan, groan.
A good day is when my mind and body are functioning together instead of fighting like cats in a sack, and I can do the work there is to do on only one dose of ibuprofen.
When I know my family are all doing well.
When I see my husband is happy at the end of a work day, and not completely frazzled.
When the weather is right for porch living, and our little resident screamer is busy elsewhere.
When something made me laugh myself silly.
Days like this happen at the rate of about 3 out 7 days, but that's pretty darn good. This life of mine has been one wild ride, and I'm very happy it's landed me here just as it is. It could have easily turned out so much differently.
A good day is a day with no drama,
A good day is when I can walk without clutching the furniture, think clearly, and stay awake until bedtime.
No gratuitous drama sounds good, too.
3 out of 4 ain't bad.
