TBD

TBD on Ning

I have a house full of baking and gift wrapping and tracking Santa online. Tonight will be dinner with my guy's family, then midnight mass, getting home late, and putting out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

What's Christmas Eve like for you and yours? Is it part of your Christmas celebration, or just "the day before"? Is it pretty traditional, or a little unconventional? Tell us your story.

Oh Anthony I know just how you feel, I was snowed in for 5 days until yesterday and finally got out to grocery. Tomorrow may get freezing rained out to see my Daughter here locally. She doesn't celebrate/observe Christmas any more, just a quiet dinner but May miss that this year. Hey guy, I wish you the very, very best -- and you've got somewhere to go for the coming year so it'll be better in future. I'm looking forward to reports from Mile High Country y'hear !
I was busy all morning wrapping gifts for the housekeeping staff as I am back to work this evening. I will be home about 11pm and then do some more wrapping and wait for Santa. My one daughter is stuck 2 hours away because of this dreaded weather. I have to get to bed before late because Santa will not come if anyone in the house is awake. Go to church in the morning, then to daughter number 1, and hope daughter number 2 makes it in. Work tomorrow afternoon. Talk with my sister who I MUST visit this year.
Sounds like a busy Christmas Day blondie. Hope daughter number 2 makes it. Merry Christmas.
We're at that point anthony where we will be celebrating our family Christmas New Years Eve. Due to our daughters' work schedules. Patience does definately pay off. Merry Christmas!
We had a very pleasant surprise this evening. My brother and his fiance stopped in. Had some drinks and some laughs. It was great.
I had a Christmas eve very unlike my plans. I was supposed to go to a party at a friends place, its an annual thing for that last 15 or so years. So at 6:30 I was watching the news and then suddenly it was 11 o'clock. OMG, well I blew that one. So off to bed and slept until the usually wake up time, 5 AM for me.

So I'm very well rested now and ready to call the siblings with Christmas greetings.
We usually have a big family party at my parents home on the 25th. Since there has been several babies born within the past couple of years, tonight should be interesting. Too bad I can't hold the babies. I've been sick with severe cold the past few days. Actually I spent the last 2 days abed.
Merry Christmas season, all. My computer monitor died, and I just got a new one installed, so I was off the radar for a bit. It's nice to come back and check in with all of you to see how your holidays are going. I've had alone ones and crowded ones, frugal ones and abundant ones, and much in between, so all of your writings strike a chord with me. It was lovely to have everyone safe and healthy and together this year to share our Christmas meal. Peace all. Happy New Year!
