Hi everyone, I am marstraveler, I am an Electrical Designer in Florence, Alabama, and have been for the last 9 years. I am married to a wonderful woman who loves me for me (only after she changed me to match her idea of me (ha!)). I have 2 adult step children, and 3 furbabies that are spoiled rotten, and told my wife if she would treat me half as good as she does the dogs i would be a happy camper (ha!). I love target practice, camping, fishing, swimming, walking in the deep woods, working with wood, and wire tying for stones.
Seeing these pictures of all the places of my star travels, really brings a tear to my eye! Thanks for the flashbacks, mars! We met once at a timeshare off Venus, you may not remember...
So my alien friend, I did not realize there was a limit to the number of friends we can request. Now that is truly a sad, sad, sad state of affairs. But I'll find a way around that! ;-)
If I were dropped out of a plane into the ocean and told the nearest land was a thousand miles away, I'd still swim. And I'd despise the one who gave up. by Abraham Maslow
The Heart of a Friend I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroken;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.
