TBD

TBD on Ning

Hello Folks,
Welcome to our little coffee shop, where we just gather when we want to
take a little break, chat with whomever might be here at the moment and
get to know each other. It's a friendly little place and everyone is
welcome. Just say hello and folks here should respond. If no one
happens to be here at the moment, just stick around or keep an eye on
the last post to see who pops up to greet you

Cat, here's a big baby boy birthday cake!

Felicitations!
Good Morning Chez, Must be a busy Fri. Morning for everyone else. I've been up a couple hours. Getting ready to move from Mongomery,AL to Acworth, GA. About a 4 hour trip for me. I'm letting the traffic thin out here and then hope to be through Atlanta by 1:00pm. I will then have to sit in a WalMart parking lot until about 3:30 and then at 4:00 I can check into the Corp of Engineer Campground. I'll probably be on here while at WalMart. but maybe not since I need to see if I can find something for my graddaughter's birthday.
Oh that is just perfect!!
Awww. . . {{{HUG}}} Thanks Chez. I'm on cloud nine right now.
Good morning Robbie, Olivia, Chez! I hope it's a good Friday for everyone. See ya!
Right now it doesn't look like I'll make it to the WalMart in Acworth today. My bedroom slide fails to lock in place. I brought it in thid msrning checked every thing out and headed for Acworth. I got on I-85 and looked in the rearview mirror the slide was out. I pulled to the side with the emergency flashers on and checked if the motor would pull it back in. It wouldn't. I started back up and eased along to an exit. I am now sitting in a "Rooms to Go" parking lot. I put in a call to my emergency road service people (Good Sam) and I'm now waiting for them to get a mobile mechanic dispached to me.
Oh, man, Robbie, that's tough. I'm sorry. You're still in or near Montgomery I presume?
Jeeeez, Robbie, I didn't know your RV was so well equipped. Pru never said. A slide? Motorized? That's high end. No trash-bag-and-water-pail slip 'n' slide for our CWO!

****I don't even have a mirror in my bedroom.****
Ok, the emergency people sent out a couple guys. I had one of them drive my jeep in front of me and the other drove their truck in back in case the slide out slid out. It didn't. we made it to the RV repair place and they were able to fix it.So I headed for Atlanta at 3:30 in the afternoon instead of at 9:00 am.
Then of course I lost an hour due to the time zone change at the AL/GA border. I finely got to the turn off to leave I-75 at a little after 8:00pm. Then during the two mile backroad drive into the campground I experienced the same brake burning, stinking problem that I had in FL in March. I just drove on, hoping maybe the damn RV would catch on fire. No such luck. I am now sitting in a nice Corp of Engineers Campground on Lake Allatoona, Georgia. I had a nice microwave diner and am now on my second bloody Mary. The world is looking better.
Gee Robbie after a day like you had you seem pretty mellow. Do you suppose the bloody marys helped with that? LOL
Good morning, everyone - happy Saturday!
Well, Robbie, there'll be no microwave dinner for you tonight... you're gonna have one of the best burgers ever!
And get ready to have your Mexican Train cherry popped.
See ya there. '-)
Happy week-end everybody!!
